Join us in making Kainuu an even better place for women to live and work!

Kainuu in all its diversity project supports the vitality of Kainuu by developing the retention and attraction factors of working and business life from a Women’s perspective. The project makes women’s career and entrepreneurial paths in Kainuu visible and offers tools for developing competence for employees and employers. The target group is current and potential Kainuu women in working and business life, as well as students. Kainuu employers from different sectors are also a target group. The main industries of the project are all industries, especially the leading industries, i.e. tourism, technology industry (metal and ICT), bioeconomy, sustainable mining.

As a participant in the project, you will receive support from networks and new contacts. As a participant, you will also strengthen your professional growth and competence by participating in the mentoring program and training. By sharing your career or entrepreneurial story, you will gain visibility for your entrepreneurial activities.

The project is funded by ESF+ and the main implementer is Kajaani University of Applied Sciences. The project will run from 1 September 2024 to 31 December 2026.
